The company also incorporates an international distribution business based in London and Paris whose catalogue boasts over 15,000 hours of content.
Zodiak Media was created in June 2010 following the acquisition of the RDF Media Group, one of the UK’s largest independent production and distribution companies with operations in the UK and the US. Combined with former acquisitions Magnolia, the Marathon Group and Zodiak Television, the acquisition of RDF consolidated the company's position as a global force in the production and distribution of content for multi-media platforms, the most significant of which is television. The company has annual revenues of approximately €600 million.
Some of Zodiak Media's most successful programmes worldwide include The Secret Millionaire, Don’t Forget the Lyrics, Le Grand Journal, Location Location Location, Beyond Boundaries, Wife Swap and Fort Boyard (Non-fiction); Wallander, Traces, Being Human, Saint Tropez and the Millennium trilogy (Fiction) and Waybuloo, Gormiti, Totally Spies and Redakai (Kids). The Group also produces a number of other popular formats including The X Factor, Survivor, Peking Express, Paradise Hotel, So You Think You Can Dance and Strictly Come Dancing in a number of different territories.
